Bishop Fianu visits Kpedze Parish

Most Rev. Emmanuel Kofi Fianu, SVD, Bishop of Ho, recently a paid a two-day pastoral visit to the St. Anthony’s Parish at Kpedze in the Ho-West District to interact with the Parishioners to ascertain their pastoral and developmental needs.
As part of the visit, the Bishop met members of the Parish Pastoral Council and Catechists, and called on Parishioners to study and be abreast with the Doctrines and Teachings of the Church.
He appealed to philanthropists to support the infrastructural development of the Church.
The Regent of Kpedze, Fiator Delali Atsrim, who represented Torgbuiga Atsridom V, Chief of Kpedze Traditional Area at the Mass, commended the Catholic Church for its immense support to the community, calling on the Bishop to visit them regularly.
He lamented the inability of the indigenes to participate in the developmental projects initiated by the Church and assured the Bishop that efforts were being made to educate the people on the need to participate in all Church projects.
Earlier, Rev. Fr. Theophilus Sena Ameka, the Parish Priest welcomed and thanked the Bishop for his visit.
Present at the Mass was Rev. Fr. Samuel Sekpe, the Associate Priest.
